The light artillery rocket system (short LARS) was a multiple rocket launcher of the German manufacturer Wegmann & Co. The weapon system was used from 1969 to the early 1990s in the rocket artillery of the army of the Bundeswehr. LARS consisted of two tube packages, each with 18 drawn tubes of caliber 110 mm. Each rocket launcher was capable of firing 36 spin-stabilized missiles within 18 seconds. In use, LARS, ie a launcher train, would have been fired with four rocket launchers.
