ur five-piece Jaguar Collection comprises some of the iconic shapes in the history of the marque in a glorious and authentic array of colours too.
76XK120005 Jaguar XK120 – Black
Registered OOF 748, our superb two-seater open topped sports car is a replica of the car which Jaguar launched in 1948 and which comprised their first sports car since production of the Jaguar SS ceased in 1940. Just over 12, 000 of the Jaguar XK120 were produced between 1948 and 1954 when it was superseded by the XK140. Our model is presented in gleaming black with red interior. Note too, the Jaguar Cars Coventry badge on the front of the bonnet.
76JSS001 Jaguar SS – Cream
William Lyons launched the 2.5 litre salon at the Mayfair Hotel in September 1935. The model was the first to carry the Jaguar name and cost 395. It was also the first four-door saloon to come out of the SS Company and first appeared with wooden frames! By 1938 the car had been upgraded to an all-steel frame and it remained in production until 1949 during which time 6,777 had been produced for the discerning customer of the day, epitomising an age of elegance and wealth.
Here we see it registered 599 XUC, in a warm cream with bright blue interior door cappings, carpet and seats. Other interior features are finished in tan. The exterior trim is masked silver with a black sunroof panel.
76ETYP001 1966 Jaguar E-Type Jaguar Series 1, 4.2 Roadster
Arguably the most beautiful and much loved car in the world, no Jaguar set would be complete without an example of the famous E-Type! Here we have a reprise of the first off the new tool when it originally appeared in the Oxford range, registered JRC 185D from 1966. Painted British Racing Green with contrasting silver trim, including the superb wire wheels, the model is in open-top mode and appears with a cream interior. Definitely ahead of its time, it still looks really good today!
76JAG2001 Jaguar Mk 2 – Regency Red.
Registered 248 RPA, from 1960, the model immediately reminds us of a certain TV detective who loved his Mk II as much as classical music! Decorated in a superb regency red with black trim, the interior seating is also dark red .
76JAG7002 Jaguar Mk VIIM – Birch Grey
This classic Jaguar was also a part of the Oxford 1:43 scale series before its cross-over into 1:76 scale as a separate item. Here we see it again in exactly the same silver grey colourway, registered BRX 330, its sleek sloping lines confirming its Jaguar pedigree. It also features red interior seating and is rounded off with masses of external silver trim.
Packed: 22.5cm x 5cm x 22.7cm ( L x W x H )
Unpacked: 6.8cm x 2.4cm x 2cm ( L x W x H )
